About
Ready for change? When we enter therapy, we are choosing a process of looking deeper into the truth of our lives and parts of our core selves. Although those prospects may sound frightening, good therapy is a gift that we give ourselves: a gift of understanding, cultivated compassion, and widening clarity. I believe therapy is a collaborative process that should incorporate curiosity, acceptance, and connection. My goal as a therapist is to help people authentically connect to their truer sense of selves in order to live more fulfilling lives and have more meaningful relationships.
I work with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, symptoms of post-traumatic stress (from single incident traumas, childhood neglect/abuse or sexual assault/abuse), relationship difficulties, life transitions, and existential issues around meaning and identity.
My approach is interactive in style and depth-oriented, using psychodynamic, existential, and relational therapies. I believe that everyone has the innate power to heal, and it is within the therapeutic relationship that we can uncover and elicit this ability.
