About
I work closely with individuals, couples, and families who are looking to improve the quality of their personal lives and relationships. Often, feelings of anxiety, sadness, or hopelessness can either result from or lead to difficulties in the quality of our interpersonal relationships. My therapeutic approach is a strength-based and solution-focused model of support that is geared toward identifying strategies to help people better manage their own personal emotions, while simultaneously strengthening their bonds with partners and other loved ones.
I believe in a model of therapy that is collaborative, where the individual is the expert on their own life and establishes their own goals for treatment. A strong emphasis is placed on developing healthy patterns of communication, clear and flexible boundaries, and mutual respect in all close relationships.
Most importantly, there is an ongoing focus on identifying each person's unique strengths, and the many ways they can be maximized and appreciated by the individual and their loved ones. Please feel free to contact me to discuss further how we can accomplish this together.
