Hi I'm Michael, I believe saying "I'm not okay" is one of the bravest things we can admit to ourselves and it's a privilege to be able to walk through the ups and downs of life with my clients. I believe every person's journey is unique and it's important to me to cultivate a safe, non-judgmental space for us to collaborate. I utilize a person-centered approach that includes aspects of Existential, Narrative, and Contextual therapies leading us to explore all the interconnected ways your inner world connects with your surroundings, history, and interpersonal relationships.
I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University as well as a Masters in Theology from TCU. I've always been fascinated by the ways we relate to one another and how this connects to self-regard.
I have experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families on issues ranging from anxiety and depression to religious trauma and childhood wounds. I respect all identities, cultures, and backgrounds. I look forward to hearing from you and starting this journey together!
