My path to becoming a therapist started with my own struggles with anxiety, depression, and trauma - which led me to my own therapy, healing, and self-discovery. While you and I may not have experienced the same things in life, I believe that through my own suffering and subsequent healing I can be a more empathetic and understanding therapist.
While it can be difficult to look at ourselves, I believe that it is one of the most rewarding endeavors in life. I strongly believe in the power of psychotherapy to heal our deepest wounds and in turn allow us to reach our true potential. For those that are interested, I also enjoy working from a spiritual perspective and transpersonal model.
During our work together I will assist you in developing an understanding of how your mind works, identifying your habitual patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. You will learn how these patterns were formed and why they continue to operate. I will then assist you in shifting these patterns and healing your wounds through IFS and Somatic Therapy.
