I continue to derive immense satisfaction from becoming a psychologist and exploring many paths and points of view about the nature of "reality", personally in my own work on myself and with others in psychotherapy (from physical/behavioral/external levels to non-physical/subjective/internal levels). These results have led to resolving external behavioral issues and increasing their level of internal satisfaction about their life experiences.
I view psychotherapy as a conversation focusing on the participants awareness of their own thoughts, feelings and other internal/subjective events and their own point(s) of view about personal or interpersonal areas of discomfort, confusion or concern. The purpose of psychotherapy is to solve or resolve these areas.
