Hi! My name is Mike. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Oklahoma and have been working as a therapist since 2017. Before becoming a licensed therapist, I worked as a behavioral rehabilitation specialist since graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2010. I tend to draw a lot from person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches when working with patients during treatment. I also tend to focus on strengths and solutions when helping.
My focus has traditionally been what the people I am working with are focused on. During my time in this field, I have had the opportunity to work with people handling many obstacles. My career has been spent alternating between both inpatient and outpatient settings.
