I am one of a small number of clinicians nationally credentialed as both a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Supervisor (CSAT-S) and an International Certified Gambling Counselor (ICGC-I). My practice focuses on adult men navigating the early, often crisis-level stages of recovery from sex and love addiction, problematic pornography use, gambling disorder, compulsive technology or gaming, and co-occurring substance use. If you're feeling overwhelmed by these behaviors or burdened by shame, you're not alone, and recovery is possible. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and rooted in deep clinical expertise.
As a CSAT-S, I bring advanced training in compulsive sexual behavior, infidelity, and rebuilding trust, including fostering empathy in partner relationships. I have worked extensively with individuals facing complex emotional and relational challenges, including narcissistic and borderline personality dynamics.
I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Substance Abuse Studies), and a Bachelor of Science in Substance Abuse Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the American Foundation for Addiction Research (AFAR), helping to advance evidence-based treatment and research.
