I'm taking new telehealth clients. My ideal client is someone who may be having difficulties with personal relationships, depression, anxiety, stresses of life, or workplace issues. Counseling is about helping people get better, developing coping and emotion regulation skills and learning how to respond to internal/external triggers. My clients usually get better at restoring relationships and finding new meaning in their life or work. My clients also appreciate my faith-based approache to improve overall health by integrating of spiritual, physical and emotional health.
Two of my specialties are working with couples experiencing infidelity and family members impacted by domestic violence. I help couples recover from infidelity and domestic violence using a facilitative. forgiveness approach.
The challenges of life can be complicated, overwhelming, and cause a sense of losing control. My counseling approach is to create a safe place giving clients opportunities to self-assess and learn self-regulation skills. In this way, clients can draw on their own resources to cope with relationships, find their purpose and better understand inner struggles.
