Have you wondered where your life is going and found that personal difficulties have gotten in your way? My clients come to see me with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship, children and many other issues. I see symptoms as an opportunity for growth. Therapy, like life, is a journey with definite stages. Initially, I work with the individual in talking about their life and issues of concern. The next stage involves processing and healing the stuck places. As this occurs, I see people then ready to find their resources, living into their goals, their essence, their being.
I believe that being seen and heard is very important. I use a holistic approach, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy and other effective modalities to help with your issues and release burdens. I work at tailoring treatment to the client's unique needs.
I have been a therapist for over 30 years. I am moved by my clients' uniqueness, courage to face themselves and their ability to heal their stuck parts, moving to a clarity and compassion for themselves. I strive to help you get the whole perspective of a your external and internal parts by fostering the therapeutic relationship.
