As a transgender individual myself, ever since I embarked on my journey to become a professional counselor, I knew I wanted to help others both in the ways I was and was not helped in my own journey. This has only been reinforced as we have seen attacks by politicians on our community increase over the last several years. If you are a queer or trans teen or adult, and you are looking for answers, I can't promise those, but can promise I can help you look.
I utilize existential and feminist techniques to specialize in Gender identity exploration and transition, WPATH hormone therapy and surgical letters of support, PTSD/trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. I am practiced in strengths-based work and motivational interviewing and use them to challenge client to be their best selves.
I am a lifelong lover of science, and wear the badge of nerd with as much pride as I do my own gender identity. When I am not busy working, I'm usually reading a book, playing a video game, or running a tabletop RPG campaign.
