I have been a child and family therapist since 2009, and volunteered in the field of grief and loss for 14 years, working with grieving children (ages 3 to 18) who lost a loved one. I'm client-centered and strengths-based, and believe my job is to try to understand how my client's brain works, to best assist each individual understand her/ himself. I have learned from the last 9 years working with a wide variety of amazing individuals that I must be very creative and flexible. I'm grateful for how much I have and continue to learn from my clients.

CBT. ADHD. Bad grades. Difficulty focusing. Hyperactivity. Anger Management. Grief & Loss. Trauma. Life changes/ transitions. Social & Emotional skill development. Seeking Purpose. Wanting more out of life. Solution-Focused. Art-focused therapy. Sadness. Numb. Apathy. Anxiety. Hard time coping. Stress management. Skill development. Positive parenting skills. IEPs/ 504. Spirituality. Buddhism. Mindfulness.

I am happy to do the typical one-hour session, but with working for families as an intensive in-home therapist for +2 years I have found that sometimes the session just starts getting somewhere in that first hour. I also offer hour-and-half and two-hour sessions, at $125, $185 and $240.
