In our sessions we will work collaboratively to help you feel better, more relaxed, to improve the quality of your life, and ultimately to increase your hope. We will focus on barriers that are holding you back from being the person you long to be. We will look at cognitive distortions, negative behavioral patterns, and self-image issues that might be impeding your success. I will use a wide range of treatment modalities in our work together.
The bulk of my experience comes from being an assistant professor with the University of Kentucky where I was a therapist in their dept. of psychiatry for 13 years. I am more than willing to work with children and people of almost all ages. Combined with my compassionate approach you will experience dynamic and lasting change in our work together!
