My name is Michael James and I am a LCSW. I believe in a person-centered approach and work with men, women, and couples with mental health, trauma, relational, and addiction issues utilizing evidence-based therapy.
I try to meet you where you are and gain understanding of your goals of therapy. I am very down to earth and believe that the therapeutic alliance between you and I is essential to make meaningful progress.
I am not your typical therapist as I started my career in finance and have an undergrad in Business. While I could succeed in this path, I did not find meaning in it. I see becoming a therapist as a calling and not a vocation.
