My clinical expertise is addiction/substance abuse treatment (both user and impacted family members) as I've worked in both inpatient & outpatient settings. I am very familiar with 12-step recovery but it is not my only tool. I can provide evaluation/assessment and potential referral to rehab if needed. My style is hands on & solution-oriented -- my goal is that you leave our sessions feeling empowered, motivated and have more coping skills to manage your life. There is no reason why you should continue to suffer or struggle; you deserve to feel better & develop confidence in yourself.
I take pride in treating couples and those who are struggling within their relationship(s). I assess each relationship uniquely and remain non-judgmental regarding whether the relationship should continue. Several couples also struggle with parenting & behavioral issues of their children, which I can assist in teaching behavioral change strategies.
I treat several clients who are dissatisfied/actively struggling with job stress.
