Have you ever felt like your body was reacting in ways you did not want it to? Perhaps you feel uneasy around unexpected things. Maybe your gut is telling you something and you just need some confirmation. I believe we find answers and direction when we sit with someone who takes the time to listen and see. It is not easy to show up and vulnerably talk to someone. I personally know the hard work it takes to look inward, spend time wondering what is going on, and make the inner adjustments so that life does not feel like it's crashing over us.
I draw from many different experiences, including; leading groups in psychiatric hospital, working with families in their home, and of course in a 1:1 private practice. I am also specifically trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy to address chronic pain. If you unfamiliar, it is well worth a web search!
I call my counseling practice "Wit's End" because that's often the point at which we turn to help. It pauses the conversation for a moment. It is the moment we "hiccup" and turn to curiosity. That's why I'm here. With cleverness, kindness, and hope, we will sit together and navigate what brought you here and how you can move through.
