The focus of my nearly 30 years in practice is to assist people who find themselves in common yet challenging transitions in their lives. These difficult "phase of life" transitions are often accompanied by painful adjustment experiences including relationship issues, confusion with one's role, interests, or even personal or work identity, difficulty making decisions or taking action, challenges with feeling productive and making a contribution, and finding peace in one's overall experience of life.
Over the years, I have developed two specialty areas: 1) helping younger adults (21-29) find direction, well-being and happiness by understanding and navigating this often-misunderstood period in life. 2) assisting people of all ages to navigate their career and world of work.
Besides working with individuals in private practice, I consult with organizations around the world developing their people in leadership and management skills. I have coached and counseled people at all levels from CEO's to first time supervisors. A special focus of this work involves interpersonal skills development.
