Licensed for 17 years, serving clients via teletherapy in the Mpls/St Paul metro and surrounding areas (including Hennepin, Carver, Scott counties), as well as outstate Minnesota, my focus in therapy is to: 1) assist individuals and couples to clearly identify the root causes of the challenges and difficulties they are facing; 2) work together to identify real-world solutions which they feel will best address and resolve their unique life situations. I do not use a one-size-fits-all, or cookie-cutter approach.
I work relationally and collaboratively, helping each individual to hold themselves accountable for gaining the skills they need to successfully navigate their own life journey with all of its challenges and successes.
With training and experience using Terrence Real's Relational Life Therapy model, informed by current neurobiology knowledge, using aspects of Adler's practical real-world application focus, and an appreciation of the uniqueness of each individual in their situation, I focus on developing skills and tools that address the gaps or needs causing the stressors.
