I help people because I make it possible for them to bring their issues and concerns into the therapy session in order to resolve these problems in the treatment. Whatever we accomplish in this task carries over to the client's outside life and they become more successful. I am able to do this because of my many years of supervision with some of the top therapists in the New York area. I also train other therapists and I was cited as a supervisor of excellence by the California Psychological Association.
My specialty is resistance analysis, I study and help the client to become aware of habits and patterns of behavior that interfere with them obtaining peace of mind and successful interpersonal relationships. In addition I resolve the client's resistances by meeting their developmental needs which may have been unmet in earlier years.
I believe that the therapist has to undergo personal analysis, making it possible for the therapist to resolve and focus on the client's problems.
