My approach to therapy is flexible, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practice. I will work with you to thoroughly understand the issues you are dealing with, identify goals for change, and implement effective strategies. My goal is to help you feel better, learn coping strategies, and increase your confidence to successfully address life's challenges.
I have specialized training and experience in treating anxiety and related conditions including OCD, panic, generalized anxiety (worry), social anxiety, and trauma. I also have significant experience helping individuals who are experiencing depression, relational difficulties, chronic pain, and addiction, among others.
Research shows that part of what makes therapy effective is a good relationship between client and therapist. I work hard to be honest, curious, and committed as a therapist. Please do not hesitate to contact me to determine whether my approach is a good fit for you.

As an OCD specialist, I know that traditional therapeutic approaches are often insufficient to resolve recurring fears. Research strongly demonstrates that exposure and response prevention is the most effective treatment for helping individuals with OCD learn to gradually challenge their fears while learning to be more comfortable with uncertainty.
