I operate from an attachment theory lens most commonly using EMDR, which is one of the most flexible and innovative ways of dealing with trauma, by utilizing biological processes your body already uses to heal experiences that may create distress. I have had success treating everything from being exposed to violent deaths, assaults and a variety of abuse.
I also provide couples therapy using the specialized approach of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. In some cases, things like anxiety and depression are actually better dealt with in couples therapy. I am happy to talk through what might be best for you.
