I only hope to offer tools and language that help you become an even better expert on yourself, as well as knowledge, interventions, and an overall approach that fits your particular needs. If you are looking for tough love, or someone to analyze you and tell you what is wrong with you, I’m not able to provide that. I can offer deep compassion, humor, genuine curiosity, authenticity, and nerdiness. Rather than be too clinical, I err on the side of being human, warm, real, and open. I encourage you to bring as much of yourself as you feel safe to.
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive clients. I have completed WPATH training and have extensive experience writing letters of support for gender-affirming care while providing ongoing therapeutic support throughout transition and beyond.
I am a nonbinary, queer, neurodivergent white person in a fat, tall body from Appalachian hill people with generational poverty.
