I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings with people struggling with many different types of problems. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I typically approach treatment from a family systems perspective, often focusing on communication patterns and roles that individuals serve in the family system.
I have experience working with individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, relationship problems, and trauma amongst a variety of other clinical issues. I often draw techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Emotion-Focused Therapies, as well as Behavior Modification and Motivational Interviewing.
