My ideal client is someone who has faced adversity in their relationships, career and in finding out who they are. Sometimes searching for, realizing and accepting the thing(s) that truly make us happy are difficult to incorporate into our life. Once we are able to deal with the things that get in our way we can truly be happy.
I have a cognitive behavioral approach with my clients in which I maintain an open mind and encourage open and honest discourse. I believe that by accepting the things that have influenced our life we can resolve any negative experiences and develop a healthy perspective and effective coping skills.
Like most people, I have personal experience in dealing with setbacks and hurdles interfering with my goals and affecting my relationships. I believe we all share certain experiences and insight, and sometimes we just need to spend time with someone who is able to listen, share insight and help us move forward towards finding fulfillment.
