Believing that your situation will turn out for the better, especially during difficult times, is extremely important. Belief alone however, will only take you so far. My aim as a therapist is to assist you in identifying and connecting the dots between your current beliefs and behaviors, and the challenges you're experiencing. We'll use sound therapeutic models as a framework in session, and together we'll work to enhance your outlook and reframe your life. I use CBT, Positive Psychology, and other solution focused techniques to assist all clients in understanding/working through presenting challenges. I specialize in working with men, a grossly under served population, to address their unique cognitive, social and emotional needs.
As a mental health/human services professional, I have more than 15 years of experience, including U.S. military service, and more than 20 years of combined experience providing spiritual guidance to individuals and couples.
