Working with clients, I ensure a safe, private, and therapeutic environment to help prioritize comfort when working through therapeutic needs. A primary focus of mine is to connect with those whom I support in order to promote a humanistic perspective combined with cognitive behavioral therapies. By reinforcing a non-judgemental, unbias, thought facilitation approach, I foster a clinical setting so that we may collaborate to through any presenting concerns.
For almost 20 years, I come from a background of working direct care in group home settings, higher education environments (e.g. academic curriculum, testing center), and clinical counseling setting to provide in office sessions, as well as, outreach services to group homes and day programs in the community.
One of the most important things about therapy is being able to find a provider who is a good fit, however, the process can be a challenging. I prioritize trying to connect with the persons I support, so they may foster their own personal growth.
