They often come to therapy feeling disconnected from their emotions or unsure how to express them in healthy ways. Their goal is to grow, to reclaim their sense of control, and to discover that the catalyst for change already exists within them. They’re motivated by a quiet inner desire for something better: more self-understanding.
I help clients understand their stories, build emotional awareness, and create meaningful change. Using trauma-informed care with CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, narrative, and family-systems approaches, I offer a collaborative space to explore patterns and strengthen the skills already within you.
Asking for help has often been negatively viewed, whether it be societal, familial, or other influences.
