I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have my Master of Divinity in Marriage & Family Therapy from Amridge University in Montgomery, Alabama. I have experience working with individuals & families from numerous cultural backgrounds as well as varying age groups. My experience also includes working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger related issues, trauma, self-esteem issues, PTSD, substance abuse, behavioral problems, & parenting challenges. I am very knowledgeable about crisis related issues and has been working as a crisis counselor for the last several years.
Prior to my work as a counselor, I served as a full-time minister. As such, I had the opportunity to help children, teens, adults, & families with their counseling needs, conduct per-marital counseling with couples, & provide individuals & families with grief counseling during their time of loss of loved ones. I continue to serve part-time as a minister
I seek to help each client to achieve their goals & to develop a healthier self. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family, doing organic gardening, playing guitar, taking Kung-fu lessons, exploring nature, & meeting new people.
