I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Psy.D.) based in Encinitas, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and older adults and specialize in mood issues, anxiety, and life change. I utilize Humanistic and Integral Psychology to develop a holistic perspective of each client. My approach to therapy varies depending on the unique needs of the client. Using a person-centered and integral focus, therapy is tailored to address the personal, relational, social, and cultural needs of each client.
While I have worked with a wide variety of clients' needs, my approach is a good fit for anyone dealing with life changes and striving for a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world. My goal is to increase self-awareness and self-control, leading to increased empowerment and life satisfaction.
My communication style is open and calm. Clients should feel safe to discuss their concerns with me and accepted for who they are. My interest in therapy started with a fascination with the unconscious mind and how it impacts our behavior and lives. By developing an expanded awareness and acceptance of oneself, we can move toward self-actualization.
