Depression, anxiety, and trauma responses can all be a result of living in a world that might not understand you; I want to create a therapeutic space where you feel safe to be authentically you.
I tend to approach my work from an existential and humanistic model of therapy, and I think it's important to acknowledge from the beginning that you are the expert in yourself. I hope to walk with you in this process offering guidance rather than leading you. In addition to more traditional talk therapy, I also am a board certified music therapist.
