About
I am a clinician committed to developing and strengthening the therapeutic relationship between myself and my clients. I believe that authenticity, transparency, and mutual empathy are imperative for the healing process. My goal is to foster a safe, inclusive space where individuals feel comfortable expressing who they are without fear of judgment. I specialize in talk therapy, incorporating multiple therapeutic modalities to cater to the specific needs of each client. I approach each session from strengths-based, person-centered, mindfulness lenses--as I believe that grounding oneself in the current moment is where healing begins.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a trauma treatment aimed at processing negative core beliefs and installing more adaptive ones. I have experience working with clients experiencing trauma, LGBTQ+ related concerns, anxiety and thought disorders, substance use disorders mood disorders, and general life stressors.
I recognize that seeking out professional support can be a process filled with trepidation and uncertainty whether this is your first time pursuing therapy or if you are seeking out a new therapist. It is my goal to guide the folks I work with towards a path of healing and growth by promoting unconditional acceptance and empathy.
