Acceptance, I think this is something that we strive for the most in life and it is also one of the hardest things we struggle with. It is hard for us to find ways to be true to ourselves and also feel like we are meeting the needs and demands of the world around us. I would very much like to help you find that balance. I believe a sense of humor is important and learning to laugh at things can be healing.
I'm an LPC working in CBT & DBT but approach therapy in an eclectic manner. I do not believe there is one way to go about it. I see a wide range of clients who face a variety of challenges: trauma, relationship difficulties, low self esteem, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, stress management, family conflict, and relationship challenges.
I will do all I can to find the best way to help you approach your needs and help you achieve growth, understanding, and the skills to deal with the stressors that come up in our day to day lives.
