As a Child and Family Psychologist with over 40 years experience, I provide therapy as well as conduct Neuropsychological and Forensic Assessments. I utilize a life-span developmental approach within a Positive Psychology framework for therapy and can provide specialized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to children, families, adolescents and adults. I offer diagnosis and treatment for a variety of psychological conditions and concerns and specialize in non-pharmaceutical CBT treatment for ADD and ASD. I offer in-person treatment sessions in my office and also offer remote online sessions where appropriate.
CBT is a specialized, skills-based health and wellness therapeutic approach to psychological therapy. Unlike traditional “counseling,” CBT aims to teach individuals new psychological skills in thinking, feeling and behavior that can resolve older, nagging personal problems and also provide a new foundation for how to move forward in their lives.
My goal is to provide a welcoming, educational & helpful therapeutic experience focused upon solid research-based psychotherapy. Folks will learn how their past cognitive, emotional & behavioral experiences impact them today and then will learn how to manage those experiences better in the future. People can change their lives and CBT can show how to do it.
