We all encounter grief, fear, trauma, shame, pain. These human difficulties are not just problems to be solved; they are sacred portals that offer the possibility of deepening our connection with who we are, of entering wholeheartedly into our soul’s path. They are friends to be made in the process of finding compassion and acceptance for ourselves, rather than symptoms to be eliminated in a continual drive to change, fix, improve. In the Jungian tradition, the vehicle for this process is the heart, engaged in therapeutic relationship, in spiritual cultivation, in dreams.
As a psychologist, acupuncturist, and master addiction counselor, I emphasize the work of CG Jung, existential psychology, somatic psychotherapy, Buddhist and Daoist practice, shamanic and imaginal insight, meditation and qigong, as well as my own experience as an intuitive channel and as a person in long-term addiction recovery.
I work with adults with emphasis on trauma / intergenerational trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, chronic health concerns, addiction recovery, and issues of identity, meaning, and spirituality. I appreciate working with those who are seeking an off-the-beaten path perspective and those for whom conventional approaches haven't been helpful.
