Michael has a group practice currently available for phone and video sessions. Michael and his therapists use evidence-based, humanistic, cognitive behavioral and eclectic treatments for depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, substance use disorders, adolescent turmoil, trauma, transitions, grief, self esteem, and other life challenges. The team enjoys working with adults, adolescents and couples. The team uses a non-judgmental, caring, and often uplifting approach that includes mindfulness and an appreciation and respect for diverse clientele, ethnicity, spiritual/religious, orientation and identity issues.
Michael and his associates provide a safe, non-judgmental space where a client can be themselves and explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. The process is a collaboration. We include mindfulness and spirituality when wanted. Good therapy can relieve symptoms and as well as facilitate personal growth and a sense of well-being.
I take Anthem Blue Cross, Health Net/MHN, Cigna, Tricare, Carelon, Aetna, and Optum/United Healthcare insurances. I can provide a super bill so you can get reimbursed by your PPO insurance. We are currently doing telehealth sessions and we also do a limited amount of in-person sessions.
