Accepting new clients for in-person or telehealth appointments. You don't need to know exactly why you are seeking counseling. Common topics addressed in counseling are issues with self-esteem, finding purpose and meaning in life, relationship concerns, stressful life circumstances, psychological education and/or symptom improvement. Whether you have goals or are needing to figure that out, I can be flexible and hopefully useful! I have 24 years of experience working with all ranges of presenting issues (intense psychosis to everyday stress) and can vary the approach to one that best suits your unique experience.
I attempt to help clients identify problematic patterns of thinking and behavior, learn effective coping skills and improve their sense of purpose in their lives. The structure of the sessions will be your preference. The most consistent positive feedback I've received in my career is that I am reliable, knowledgeable, unpretentious and calm under pressure.
