I have been a psychotherapist for over 20 years, and have experience working with Online Gaming, Adolescents, Parenting Conflicts, Cross-cultural Therapy, Learning Disabilities, Depression, GLBT Issues, Bereavement, Anxiety and Trauma.
My work is solidly grounded in psychodynamic, cognitive/learning, and systems theories. My style is client-centered, practical and strengths-based. I bring honesty, warmth, and humor to the therapy relationship. I have 20 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I especially enjoy working with emergent adults.
My specialty is the intersection of people, relationships and technology, from video games to social media. Many therapists know little about online games and may dismiss it as unimportant, or assume it is a problem. I am more interested in understanding your game experience and activity than pathologizing it.
