I work with men & adults who look like they're managing and underneath are running on empty. Many are ADHD, autistic, or starting to suspect it. No diagnosis required, and you will not have to explain your brain to me. I know this one from the inside. Overwork, drinking, scrolling, or willpower held it together until it stopped working. Some are present for the people who count on them and not really there. Some have tried therapy before and it never got to the thing. Underneath is usually trauma, grief, or meaning they never had room to voice. I slow things down and build toward a life that feels like yours.
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I draw primarily from ACT, relational and person-centered work, and we go deeper than symptom management when that is what it takes. I am private pay, so no diagnosis goes to an insurance company unless you ask for a superbill. My work is trauma-informed and neurodivergence-affirming.
You do not need a polished explanation or a perfect goal for therapy. A free 15-minute consultation is a chance to talk about what is bringing you in, ask questions, and see whether this feels like a fit. I offer online therapy across Colorado, in-person sessions in Boulder, and walk-and-talk sessions around Lafayette.
