Hello! My name is Micayla Lyons and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). My goal is to hold space for and provide support to those who are walking through challenging stages in their life. I firmly believe that no one should have to walk alone. Like the Willow tree, we can bend much farther than we sometimes believe, and I hope to aid you in learning to bend with life instead of breaking. I try my best to “protect my peace” and hope to help you be able to do this as well.
I feel that our experiences motivate our passions and after losing our daughter during pregnancy in 2021, I now hold my Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) certification to work with those experiencing perinatal loss or perinatal mental health challenges. I also love working with children, adolescents, and young adults with the goal of building resiliency.
It is an honor and a privilege to be given the sacred trust that comes with clients walking through my door – I feel that the bravest choice that a person can make is asking for help.
