Whether you are walking the very lonely road of grief, trying to find a new normal for your life while accepting a great loss, fighting Depression, Anxiety, or you are navigating other changes, seeking therapy is a means to find hope, peace and healing. As a LCSW, it is my privilege to guide you in the changes you are seeking. I enjoy helping those ages seven through adulthood with grief, anxiety, relationship concerns, and ADHD in adults and children.
I have been told one characteristic I hold is helping people feel comfortable to express themselves without fear of judgement. Active listening is a skill I am proud to have. I believe in using an eclectic mix of interventions in session. A few areas I have had training in include diagnosing ADHD for all ages, CBT, and bereavement counseling.
Seeking counseling takes courage and vulnerability. I provide a welcoming environment in which people are comfortable to express their thoughts and feelings. I also believe in humor, and there are many times in which a good laugh is helpful to our souls. It is my hope each person who needs counseling is able to find their "right" counselor.
