Micaela Killinger is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Micaela provides therapy for adults and adolescents. Micaela assists with a variety of concerns including trauma, behavioral concerns, identity exploration, self harm, mood and self worth. Micaela approaches therapy from a person-centered foundation and combines a variety of evidenced-based treatment modalities including and not limited to: harm reduction, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).
Micaela strives to create and maintain a treatment environment that balances unconditional positive regard, empathy and compassion with space to explore opportunities for change. Micaela has a master’s degree in professional counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
When not in the office, Micaela enjoys practicing yoga, reading, baking sourdough, spending time with her friends, family and of course her dog
