My practice centers the experiences of people who are BIPOC. Many of the people I work with identity as AAPI, and/or have intersecting identities of being both BIPOC and Queer. People I work with want to have more fulfilling and meaningful relationships with themselves, their partner, friends, and/or family. They desire to know and share their needs and boundaries. They recognize the impact their upbringing may have on them, and are ready to heal from it, and to unlearn patterns that stem from that. They want to be more vulnerable and in touch with their emotions, to live authentically true to who they are. They value growth.
I practice therapy in a way that feels down to earth, natural, warm, and deeply relational. Who you are, the stories you carry, and the context of where you come from are important to me. It allows me to see you as a whole person. I honor your humanity. Show up exactly and authentically as you are - you can expect the same from me as your therapist.
You have inner wisdom within yourself, and my role is to be with you as a partner who walks with you on your journey as you access your inner wisdom and amplify it.
