Mia has experience working with both children and their families, specifically children with behavioral issues, ADHD, stress, and anxiety. She utilizes approaches such as CBT, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy.

Mia is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment centered on trust and rapport. She believes in the power of a collaborative partnership, where there is clear communication, empathy, and respect.

Focus Forward is a supportive skills group for adults ages 18-28 looking to improve focus, organization, and following through. In a welcoming, judgement-free space, members learn practical tools to reduce overwhelm and take small, meaningful steps forward. (Most insurance accepted * Please note, clients are not required to be attending individual therapy at Nassau Psychology, PC in order to participate in group therapy at our practice. A one time intake evaluation is required prior to being admitted into group therapy to ensure we are a good fit for the client's needs and to meet the group leader.)
