I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I specialize in therapy for adults. While I'm trained and qualified to work with a range of presenting problems, I specialize in individual therapy and I'm experienced with relational and emotional issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral disorders, and substance abuse issues. I believe the foundation of therapy is just two people conversing with one another in a safe and supportive environment. The key difference between therapy and other relationships is that the focus is on you, and I have specialized training that helps me to foster therapeutic transformation.
I commonly use CBT, DBT, ACT, and a client-centered approach. I work to provide a therapeutic space where adults can feel safe to share their thoughts and even their most vulnerable feelings. I work to demonstrate a positive and engaging tone that helps provide a comforting and healing environment for all of my clients.
Overall, I want to provide a comfortable and safe setting for you to feel welcome and heard.
