Are you feeling like it’s hard to authentically be yourself or connect with others? As a relational therapist, I recognize that our connections are the basis of both the greatest struggles and the greatest rewards we can know as humans. I specialize in work with couples, families, and individuals who have "non-traditional" relationships and sexualities. My work with clients is open and collaborative, often using narrative therapy, EFT/attachment theory, and systems theory to help people flesh out their sense of identity and strengths. You can expect transparency, a culturally-attuned lens, and a little humor in therapy with me!
I most often work with clients who are dealing with relationship and communication issues, anxiety, non-monogamy/opening their relationships, chronic illness, identity exploration, queerness, and kink/BDSM. My therapeutic approach is based in narrative and emotionally-focused therapies and focuses on the strengths that the client brings to the therapy room.
I know that reaching out to a therapist can be hard, so I am grateful that you are considering me! I hope that my client-centered approach to therapy will help you feel seen and heard. I work hard to make sure that clients are able to be themselves fully in my therapy room. Please reach out to schedule a free consultation if you think we might be a good fit!
