Hey there! I am Mia and I am passionate about providing therapy to older children, adolescents and adults that are struggling with life challenges. I believe that creating a safe space for clients to process feelings, thoughts, and behaviors is essential for healing to begin, so I make it a priority to make sure you are comfortable and ready before digging into the challenges that bring you into therapy.
I have gained most of my clinical experience working at an acute inpatient facility with adolescents and adults, where we primarily focused on crisis intervention and stabilization. I like working with anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. I also have experience working with clients that have struggled with substance abuse and legal troubles.
My passion for empowering clients takes many forms, depending on your needs. My approach is always strength based and client centered.
