In my practice, I often work with people who feel very stuck. Sometimes this is because they feel stuck in a certain thought patterns or behaviors. Other times, they feel stuck in their relationships or their place in life. And other times, they feel stuck in emotions such as depression, numbness, and panic. I take a collaborative approach as a therapist and try to work with each person to understand what is causing difficulties and what might help. Sometimes this involves focusing on immediate concerns or goals, and other times involves exploring emotions or how the past has shaped the present.

Have you ever found yourself unable to feel better, despite past attempts to think your way out and move forward? Like a cycle you can't escape? Is it sometimes hard to "human"- to socialize, get yourself to focus, to navigate sensory overwhelm, or even to communicate to others? Maybe you've seen therapists in the past who seemed to be puzzled by you or not on your wavelength so you felt stuck. Are you looking to get to the root of these challenges and heal them for good instead of chronically coping just to get by? Do you need to make a change, but don't want to simply talk about your feelings? The good news is everyone can heal.

As a licensed psychologist, psychedelic therapist, and liberation-centered practitioner, my work is about supporting people in reclaiming their freedom and living in alignment with their embodied sovereignty. I see my purpose as helping folks tune into their own inner knowing, so they can move toward liberation even in the face of systems of oppression, dominance, and discrimination. My approach to both therapy and psychedelic facilitation is rooted in the belief that liberation is not a metaphor, but a lived and embodied reality. Our work becomes a portal for ancestral connection, somatic release, and reclaiming sovereignty.

I am a therapist who blends insight with action. I don't just sit with my clients in their pain, I help them organize it, understand it and respond to it. I commonly use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), but I use the modality that I feel, fit best for my client. I help clients work through their truth, which can be hard, but often essential to them reaching thier therapeutic goal(s).

All too often there are people who want and need therapy, but are not able due to it being financially out of reach. I am trying to lower this barrier and provide therapy when it otherwise would not be Within Reach.

Throughout life, it is possible to find ourselves on a journey we believe is impossible to complete. Through therapy, we learn that no journey is impossible; however sometimes we must detour...delay...revisit...or speed up! This analogy speaks to the true essence of therapy, helping others to navigate obstacles that present themselves along their journey. I will partner with you to find your path to a healthy existence despite any detours you encounter.

Are clipboards, cardigans and "...So how does that make you feel?" not your thing? It's not really mine either. Times have changed and the world is a crazy place right now. You or your child/teen are just trying to hold it together, while checking off the list of things you have to get done. It's hard to listen to yourself and regulate your thoughts and emotions when there is always something else to do and someone else in your ear with more to add to the list. It's irritating, overwhelming and frustrating. You have to work through things to get to what you know and feel is just on the other side of overwhelm. Your peace.

Do you find yourself stuck in the same, confusing and overwhelming patterns and habits? Struggling to connect with your partner, friends, parents or work colleagues? Paralyzed by anxiety, uncertainty, or hopelessness, but you don't know how to move forward? Maybe you are neurodivergent and/or traumatized, and wondering if your past experiences in life continue affect your ability to function, or love yourself and others. My clients are looking to live a more authentic, connected, and fulfilling life in their personal and professional worlds, even if it means challenging "the success script" we've all been given.
