My approach is to provide an accepting, compassionate, warm, and empathic environment where we work together to discover and make better, the parts of us and our environment that interfere with daily life. It's my belief that we are all capable of positive change with the focus on the person as a whole. Our growth touches and impacts not only ourselves, but the relationships we are a part of and the environment we live in.

I specialize in marital/couples counseling, as well as the treatment of depression and child and family therapy. I have developed an excellent 10 session couples counseling program. With a 5 session follow up, entering a couples group. I have helped save many marriages and relationships. It is very difficult, but very rewarding work. If your relationship is on the brink of divorce or ending, it might be worth a try. Intimacy and love are typically the most important aspects of living a happy life. If you are fighting too much, too distant emotionally or sexually, my work could be very important for you and your partner.

We live in a world where social media and presenting the perfect picture of one's life has left many people feeling alone and empty. I believe every person can dive within and find true happiness if they allow themselves too. When you find yourself in need of help with those hard moments in life, it can be beneficial to find a professional to guide you on your path. No one knows yourself better than you do, and my degree doesn't make me an expert on you, but it has helped me to gain the education needed to help you manage core issues causing you pain. I have worked as a therapist for over a year and as an attorney for over 17 years.

My goal is to bring to you, as my client, a safe place to explore what will give you the most support for growth you want. My office is also a place to learn and try out new coping skills. I am a mentor with shelves of tools, some of which will fit the life you want to go out and have; others which may not meet your style. An ideal relationship will give you client room to open yourself to thoughts and feelings and learn what you want and need and how to express that in healthy ways.

Bipolar Disorder Therapists
The defining feature of bipolar disorder is mania. It can be the triggering episode of the disorder, followed by a depressive episode, or it can first manifest after years of depressive episodes. The switch between mania and depression can be abrupt, and moods can oscillate rapidly. But while an episode of mania is what distinguishes bipolar disorder from depression, a person may spend far more time in a depressed state than in a manic or hypomanic one.
