I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 27 years of experience. I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults and adults who’ve made the decision that they are ready to get the help they need to improve their mental and emotional health and well-being. Life can be rough and present many challenges that can leave one feeling hopeless, isolated, stuck, sad and confused. I aim to create a compassionate and supportive therapeutic environment where we work together to find the answers you need to address a wide range of challenges, difficulties and stressors that hinder you from reaching your goals and living your best life.

Hello, I am an LMSW licensed through the State of Michigan and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals. I work out of the Great Lakes Psychology Group South Gate office and am currently accepting new clients. I have almost ten years of experience in providing outpatient therapy and have provided therapy to children, adults, couples, and families struggling with a range of concerns. Additionally, I have significant experience working in outpatient substance abuse therapy with both clients and their families as they navigate recovery.

I feel it is important to form a relationship that becomes the framework that leads to understanding and change. I have provided therapy to young adults/adults in various settings and worked with individuals facing different concerns including anxiety, depression, substance use, adjustment-related stress, difficult relationship dynamics, grief/loss, and identity development. I also specialize in working with those who have been impacted by a loved one's addiction.

EVENING and WEEKEND appointments available through my team! I love working with people who have family members going through the dying process prematurely due to aggressive illness. It is never going to feel good to say goodbye, however, I like to sit with those experiencing impending grief and help them navigate this time to also strengthen their own relationship with death and mortality.
