My practice is currently full. Please email me if you are interested in beginning services in June/July. I love working with people who are seeking growth and self-understanding. Therapy is hard work. It pushes us to see things in new ways and to explore feelings and behavior patterns. And, hopefully, it leads to feeling healthier and more connected to ourselves, our needs, and in our relationships. I approach therapy from a holistic and integrative perspective--I believe well-being is influenced and impacted by many factors including physical health, genetics, personality, and life experiences.
I specialize in helping adults understand themselves and their experiences in order to improve their sense of well-being. I have a special interest in working with individuals who are Highly Sensitive People (Sensory Processing Sensitivity), Introverts, people who have anxiety or who have experienced trauma / overwhelming events, or who have Complex PTSD.
My office is located near downtown Traverse City in a private setting. I offer Telehealth sessions for those needing/preferring video sessions. In addition to traditional office "talk therapy", I also offer yoga/meditation practice support and have extensive training in resolving childhood wounding, including C-PTSD. I work with a therapy dog named Emmett.
