My ideal clients are people who want deeper connection but feel stuck in cycles of miscommunication, emotional distance, or sexual dissatisfaction. They may struggle to talk about intimacy, desire, or body image without shame or defensiveness. They want a space to be honest, rebuild trust, improve communication, and experience intimacy that feels safe, affirming, and mutual, not performative.
Together, we slow things down, untangle patterns, and build honesty, pleasure, and emotional safety so your relationship can feel nourishing again.

Hello, I’m Savannah (she/her). I am a Native (Ojibwa) woman originally from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. One of the most important parts of therapy is having a connected and trusting relationship with your therapist. I approach sessions with empathy and curiosity, often by asking open-ended and follow-up questions, so that I can get to know the true you and get a feel for what life is like in your shoes. I appreciate the strength and vulnerability it takes to open up and speak about your challenges, and would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.

You might also be exploring your sexuality, CNM, working through relationship dynamics, or craving connection in a way that feels real and respectful of who you are. I’m here to help you manage the chaos of parenting, release the pressure to do it all perfectly, and find steadiness, self-kindness, and connection along the way.

Hey there beautiful humans!
To say that life can get a bit wonky sometimes, is an understatement.
I’ve been where you are & I know what a big step it is to venture into therapy.
I don’t take it lightly when folks choose to invite me into what can be a vulnerable endeavor. The foundation of my work is to Be Present with clients. I am committed to empowering you, creating a safe affirming therapeutic space and sharing tools with you so that you may be better resourced out in the world- but YOU are the expert of your life. I am merely a facilitator.

You’ve been hurting a lot - maybe for years. Whether it’s the lingering effects of trauma, the strain of chronic pain or illness, or the emotional toll of trying to hold everything together, you’re tired of just surviving. You may feel disconnected from yourself, on edge without knowing why, or like your body is holding something your mind can’t fully explain. Your mind can’t slow down, or you’re carrying tension that never fully goes away. Maybe you’re struggling with relationship problems, recovering from trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, shame, frustration, or overwhelm that you can’t just “think your way out of.”

I became a psychologist to help individuals learn to appreciate their individuality and understand that not everyone learns, processes, and thinks the same way; but rather everyone is unique and can benefit from therapy. I enjoy teaching coping skills to people so they can feel more empowered and take control of their own lives. I find this especially important when working with clients that have had a past diagnosis of a learning disorder. I feel everyone has the potential for growth but the path to growth is not the same for everyone.

I believe people have the wisdom to heal themselves, but sometimes we need guidance to discover or effectively apply it. My goal is to help you build the skills and the courage to listen to your own voice and live the life you desire. Throughout the course of treatment, patients have many opportunities to practice actively focusing on positive change and living in the present; as well as develop healthier relationships with the past and future. I combine in-session work with creative, practical take-away exercises; encouraging patients to develop and apply the means to deal with future hardships long after treatment ends.

I'm a Clinical Supervisor & specialize in working with Therapists, LGBTQIA+, Neurospicey folks, & Sex/ Kink/Identity care.
Hello, I’m James, and thank you for being here. Whether you are new to therapy or have been sitting on the therapy chaise lounge for years, welcome! First off, there is no "perfect" way to do therapy and there is no "perfect" way to be a client. Frustrating, I know - let's talk about it! I strive to make my practice safe, comfortable, individualized and resourceful. Another core tenant of my practice that I find equally important: your agency/choice. You are the brain in the body, after all, and I will do my best to collaborate with you for achieving your aims (General response time: 48-72 hrs).

Sex-Positive, Kink Allied Therapists
Why might an individual want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
A sex-positive or kinky individual may want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist because the client may feel safer and more supported discussing their experiences and challenges. A therapist who identifies as kink-friendly will have experience with clients having diverse sexual preferences and will likely be nonjudgmental and supportive about issues brought to the table. It is important to note that sex-positive, kink-allied individuals may find equal success with therapists who do not have such specialized knowledge and background. The most important factor in the success of therapy is for the client and practitioner to form a strong, trusting bond.
Do therapists have special training to gain expertise in sex-positive, kink-allied treatment?
Generally, no. There are limited training programs and unofficial accreditations that therapists can pursue, but a therapist’s expertise will ultimately come from their previous experience with similar clients, their engagement with organizations that promote sex positivity or kink-allied lifestyles, and the importance they place on safety and cultural sensitivity.
How can individuals recognize a good sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
An experienced therapist is able to help clients explore their sexual identity and expression and relieve any discomfort or stigma attached to discussing such matters and the client’s overall challenges. A therapist who is sex-positive and kink-allied is able to create an environment that honors a client’s experience and sexual preferences. To recognize a good therapist, clients can simply ask directly about topics and issues important to them and gauge their comfort level and connection with a clinician based on the responses.
Can clients benefit from having a therapist with a focus on sex positivity and alternative sexual lifestyles?
Some individuals may feel most comfortable knowing that the clinician they’re working with has a commitment to creating an atmosphere of sex positivity and has experience with relationship diversity and alternative relationship structures. Working with a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist may help clients respect their own challenges and improve identity-affirming treatment.
